# The Solar Introduction

Owning a single solar panel inside a real, producing farm.

The world needs more clean energy and it needs it now. Demand for electricity keeps climbing while fossil fuel dependency continues to push the climate into dangerous territory. Solar is one of the cleanest, most scalable answers we have, but the way people participate in it has stayed stubbornly out of date.

Most people cannot easily own a piece of a solar farm. Traditional renewable energy projects are built for large institutional buyers, with high minimum entry tickets, slow paperwork, and ownership structures that are close to impossible for a regular person to access.

The SolarWise Own The Sun AG was built to change that.

#### The energy challenge

Global electricity demand has nearly doubled over the last three decades and continues to climb every year. A large share of that demand is still met by burning fossil fuels. The shift to renewable sources is no longer a debate, it is an urgent priority.

Solar in particular has reached a price point where it competes directly with fossil fuels in many markets. The technology is mature. The economics are sound. What is still missing is a clean, accessible way for individuals to take part in the ownership of producing solar assets.

#### A different way to own solar

We make it possible for an individual to own a single solar panel inside a real, producing solar farm. The ownership is digital, the panel is physical, and the link between the two is a Digital Twin, a verified digital record of the panel that is legally recognised under Swiss law.

Since the owner holds the Digital Twin of a physical solar panel, they are entitled to receive the proceeds arising from the sale of the solar energy generated by that panel, distributed monthly. No fund managers, no minimum portfolio sizes, no banks in the middle. A clean line between the panel and the person who owns it.

#### What is a Digital Twin?

The Digital Twin concept is already well established in the solar industry. Energy companies use Digital Twins to track and manage the lifecycle of physical assets like panels, inverters, and entire farms. The SolarWise Own The Sun AG takes that concept and applies it to legal ownership: each Digital Twin on our platform corresponds to one specific, physically installed solar panel, and the holder of that Digital Twin is the verified owner of that exact panel.

A Digital Twin contains everything that identifies a panel: its serial number, its location inside the farm, its installation date, its technical specifications, its production history, and its current legal owner.

See image below how we create digital twins:

#### Starting in Brazil, anchored in Switzerland

Our first solar farms are operating in **Brazil**, a country with some of the strongest solar conditions in the world. The company itself is registered in **Switzerland** and operates under one of the most respected financial regulatory frameworks in Europe. The combination gives the project strong physical output and strong legal grounding.

Future farms are planned across multiple regions. Each new farm follows the same approach: the panels are built first, then ownership is offered.

#### What we set out to do

* **Open access.** Make solar panel ownership available to more people without artificial gatekeeping.
* **Local impact.** Create jobs and economic activity around every farm we operate.
* **Transparent ownership.** Bring clarity to how the proceeds from renewable energy production are shared with the people who own the panels.
* **A real platform.** Build a long-term system that scales beyond our own farms by welcoming other operators onto it.

#### What this is not

Digital Twins are not financial securities. They are not an investment product. No fixed, minimum, or projected level of proceeds is promised or represented. The proceeds an owner receives depend on real-world conditions including weather, equipment performance, maintenance, and the market price of electricity in the country where the farm operates.

Past distributions are not indicative of future distributions.
